Atomize a Page

Atomizing is the step that turns a page into raw material for posts. This guide covers a single page; for atomizing several pages at once, see the bulk section below.

What atomizing actually does

When you atomize a page, the app fetches and reads it, then extracts independent "content atoms" - claims, statistics, steps, FAQs, quotes, comparisons, tutorials, objections, and more. Each atom is a self-contained idea that can become its own post.

• On a page with real depth, this can surface dozens of distinct atoms.
• On a short or thin page, the app deliberately extracts only what's genuinely there rather than inventing filler to hit a number - a landing page with three real claims yields three atoms, not thirty.
• If Google Search Console is connected for the domain, real search-demand keywords help bias which atoms surface - this never invents content to match a keyword, it just prioritizes what's already true and already in demand.
• If a prior site-wide SEO crawl found structural issues on the page (missing meta description, heading problems, etc.), that can also inform extraction.

Both of those are optional - atomizing works fine without either connected.

Atomize a single page

1. Go to the domain's page and find it in the discovered-pages table.
2. Open the row's action menu and choose Atomize (or Re-atomize if it's already been done once).
3. Wait for it to process - you'll see the atom count update on that row when it's done.

Bulk atomize

1. Check the boxes next to multiple un-atomized pages in the table.
2. A bulk action bar appears - click Atomize N selected.
3. Each page is processed in sequence. If some fail (e.g. a page that returns an error when fetched), the rest still complete - you'll see a summary like "8 succeeded, 2 failed" with the reason for any failures.

What if it fails?

There's no fallback or placeholder content - if the AI call fails (missing API key, a response that got cut short, etc.), nothing is atomized and you'll see a clear error message telling you what happened, rather than silently getting generic filler atoms.

After atomizing

Atomizing doesn't create posts by itself - it builds the pool of atoms a page can generate posts from. From here you can:

• Generate posts from the page's atoms, which land in your review queue (or auto-schedule, depending on your approval setting)
• Start a campaign on the page, so it keeps generating and posting from that atom pool on a recurring schedule

Free plan limits

On the Free plan you can atomize and preview up to 3 pages per month, on a single domain. Paid plans replace that monthly cap with a much larger total page-capacity limit (10/30/100 depending on tier) - see Plans and Pricing.

If you connect your own AI key (see Use Your Own AI Key), the Free plan's atomize cap lifts entirely.
