Write a Manual Post
Not every post needs to come from an atomized page - you can write one from scratch and still cross-post it to every connected channel at once.
Start a manual post
- Go to Content and choose + Write a post.
- Write your content. A live character-count indicator shows whether you're under, within, or over the ideal length for the platform(s) you're targeting - each platform has its own guidelines (a Pinterest description and an X post have very different sweet spots).
- Optionally attach an image - pick from your domain's stock/uploaded image pool, or upload a new one.
- Optionally ground the copy with AI rewrite: pick a source page from your domain and (optionally) keywords or a backlink URL, and let the AI regenerate the caption based on that page's real content.
- Choose which connected channel(s) to publish to.
- Publish immediately, or schedule it for later.
Editing before it goes out
A manual post follows the same lifecycle as any other post - it can be rewritten, have its image swapped, or be deleted right up until it's actually published. If your domain requires approval, a manually written post still needs to be approved before it schedules, same as a generated one.
When to write manually vs. generate from a page
- Manual is the right call for one-off announcements, replies to a moment, or anything that isn't really "about" one of your existing pages.
- Generate from a page (via the Atomizer) is better when you want the post to carry real backlink value back to a specific page, or when you want to produce several distinct angles at once instead of one caption.
