Connect Google Search Console
Linking Google Search Console (GSC) gives the Page Atomizer real search-demand data to work with, and unlocks a dedicated insights panel in Analytics.
Why connect it
- The Atomizer can prioritize the content angles that match keywords people are actually searching for - never inventing content, just weighting real demand into what it already found on the page.
- You get Top pages and Opportunity pages tables showing exactly which of your pages are winning in search, and which are being shown a lot but not clicked (a strong signal of where a headline or meta description tweak would help).
Connect it
GSC connects per domain, not globally:
- Open the domain you want to connect it for.
- Open its settings drawer and choose Connect Search Console.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to that site's Search Console property.
- Pick the verified property that matches your domain.
Once connected, the domain's settings show the linked property, with options to switch it or disconnect.
You can also connect GSC during the "Add a domain" wizard, right after choosing your pages - or skip it there and connect it later exactly the same way.
Where you'll see GSC data
- Analytics page - a Search Console panel with clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position (each with a period-over-period trend), a top-queries table, and - when no domain filter is applied - a workspace-wide rollup across every connected domain.
- Top pages - your highest-clicking pages from real Search Console data.
- Opportunity pages - pages Google is showing often (high impressions) but almost nobody clicks (low click-through rate) - a good hit list for improving titles and meta descriptions on pages that already have visibility.
Data typically has about a 3-day lag, matching Google's own reporting delay.
It's optional
Nothing in the app requires GSC to function - atomizing, generating, and publishing all work fine without it. It's an enhancement layer for both content quality and reporting.
